New year, same you?

Happy New year, everyone! Ryan and I took a break over the holidays, but are back in the swing of things. Neither of us are big on New Year’s resolutions, although I’m a fan of goals and plans. I realized that my life seems less and less segmented. Less of: finished this degree by this year, see x number of patients by this month, etc. . . And more of a continual walk towards certain goals. Invite someone at least once a month to dinner to practice being more hospitable. Find ways to speak the truth in love by giving kind, clear feedback to students. Keep focused on serving others even when the workload is heavy. These aren’t new goals, but I keep praying over them and walking towards them as the months pass. Nothing new, just challenging daily life. Thank God that He is patient as we grow.

“And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.”
Galatians 6:9
