Earlier this week, we got some (mostly) good news. Haley’s work permit was approved! Though, only for one year, instead of the requested two. She will be able to start back to work on Monday. Towards the end of this month or early next month she/we will make a trip down to Nairobi to get it picked up, fingerprinted, and the work permit details stamped into her passport. This will allow Haley to work until around the end of August 2020 with the possibility of attempting to renew the work permit around that time.
